this is the absolute worst thing you can do. This is a great way to get blacklisted from every search engine. I have seen several people attempt these lame schemes to get more traffic.
In the end there is no magic way to get more traffic with schemes like that. Simply make your site seo friendly, post quality content to get people to come back. Post frequently.

Also if you don't beleive me about the your little link ring just watch all your page ranks drop the next time google updates page rank. Or ask others who have tried this same link train method like for example the Link back project which destroyed several pr blogs. Take my advice research things like this before you try them, its clearly defined on googles webmasters tool page that this is one of if not the worst thing you can do to get your site blacklisted to where it wont show up in results also known as sandbagging, till their next evaluation of your site. Sites that participate in this can be damaged FOREVER. Thats why when you buy a domain you need to see what the previous webmaster has done with it. As some search engines once they black list your site it remains there indefinitely.
I recommend a sincere apology to all these webmasters who's sites you may have inadvertently damaged.
